Georgetown Police Searching for Attempted Kidnapping Suspect - TWC News

Georgetown police are investigating an attempted kidnapping of a 12-year-old boy.
The boy told police he was walking near North Austin Avenue and Williams Drive Friday when he was approached by a man who ordered him to get in his car.
The boy ran to a nearby business and told an employee what happened, and the man in the car drove off.
Georgetown police say the suspect they're searching for is an approximately 30-year-old male, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and 130 pounds. He had short, dark hair and was wearing a camouflage pullover and tan pants.
The suspect was driving a red SUV with aftermarket rims and a Dallas Cowboys sticker on the rear bumper. He also had a female with blond hair who was wearing a pink shirt in the vehicle with him.
