IPOH, Nov 26:
Local airline YOU Wings Airlines, which has entered into a collaboration with Indonesia's Sriwijaya Air, plans to have direct flights from the Sultan Azlan Shah Airport (LTSAS) here to six destinations in Southeast Asia next year.
YOU Wings Airlines chief executive officer Daniel Lee said the the plan is still at the discussion stage between the two airlines and the Perak govermnent and the objective was to bring in more tourists to the state.
"We are still looking into the choice of destinations but three will be in Indonesia and the others on mainland Southeast Asia," he said after welcoming Sriwijaya Air's maiden flight from Medan to Ipoh at LTSAS.
