It was a rain-soaked early evening kicking off the third week of the high school blitz, but the rain clouds cleared out and made way for some solid football action.
Steele remained unbeaten with a hard-fought win over O'Connor and Georgetown knocked off Pflugerville in our Austin area game of the week.
Elsewhere, Lake Travis made short work of Hays, Brennan shut out Manor, Cedar Ridge with a victory over Shoemaker and Brandeis beat Hendrickson.
