KUALA LUMPUR:  Malindo Air, Malaysia's hybrid airline, will launch its  Subang-Ipoh-Subang service on Oct 3, 2014.

It said on Tuesday the flights would be three times weekly on every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Malindo said the move to have Subang-Ipoh flights was a continuous effort to promote local tourism and investment in Perak and offer travellers convenient connecting flights.

He added this connectivity would spur economic development by encouraging new investment and business developments in Perak.

Chandran pointed out Perak has among the most popular eco-tourism destinations for leisure travellers.
