BETHESDA, Md. (WUSA 9) -- Rain drizzle did not effect Gonzaga's ability to dominate Georgetown Prep's field at Saturday's game. The undefeated Purple Eagles jumped to 3-0 on the season with a 38-3 victory over Prep.
Gonzaga took an early charge and led Prep 10-0 at the end of the first quarter.
While the Little Hoyas struggled to keep possession, Gonzaga racked up four touchdowns in the second quarter.
Kicker Brian Dolan put Prep on the board with a 32-yard field goal in the third quarter, but the Little Hoyas could not rebound from the first half. Gonzaga will take on McKinley Tech on Friday while Prep, now 1-2, will face St. Stephen's & St. Agnes.
