GEORGETOWN, Texas (KXAN) — Georgetown High School went into lockdown after a report of a man on campus with a handgun, according to Roland Waits with the Georgetown Police Department. Police found the person matching the suspect description across the street from the school, but he was wearing an empty holster that did not have a gun.
Police noted that there is a Guns Plus store across the street from the high school. Meanwhile, the high school has since returned to its normal operations.
