IPOH, Jan 1 ― A half-naked elderly woman was found dead with a knife stabbed in her throat in a flat at Jalan Hospital, here, last night.
He said the victim, who had been living alone for the past four years, was found lying face upwards with blood stains spattered in the bedroom of her house.
"Her brother, who came to the house, found the door unlocked and discovered his sister's body in one of the rooms of the house," he told reporters after presenting aid to 15 policemen affected by floods in five districts in the state here, today.
Osman said the motive of the incident was still unknown and would be fully investigated.
He said the body was sent to Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital for post mortem. ― Bernama
